STORY OF RAMAYANA The Ramayana is an ancient Sanskrit Indian epic which follows prince Rama quest to rescue his beloved wife Sita from the clutches of  Dasamukha R avana with the help of army of  vanaram (monkey) . It was composed in Sanskrit by the sage Valmiki at 5th  century BCE. Valmiki taught it to Rama's sons, the twins Lava and Kusha.
